Accessibility Statement

xyz calculatorz is built to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA across the whole site.
Keyboard navigation
Every calculator, link, menu and form control is reachable and operable with Tab, Shift+Tab, Enter, Space and arrow keys, with a visible focus ring.
Screen reader compatibility
Semantic HTML, labelled inputs, described results and ARIA landmarks so tools announce sensibly in NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver.
Contrast and theming
Light and dark themes are designed to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast for text and interface elements.
Readable by default
Resizable text, responsive layouts down to 320px, no information conveyed by colour alone, and no motion-critical interactions.
What we do
- Use native form controls with associated labels and helper text on every calculator input.
- Provide text alternatives for icons and images, and hide purely decorative graphics from assistive technology.
- Maintain a logical heading structure so screen-reader users can navigate a page by headings.
- Announce calculated results in a live region so they are read without moving focus.
- Respect the operating-system "reduce motion" preference for animated elements.
Known limitations
Some third-party advertising creatives are outside our control and may not meet the same standards. Complex data tables and charts include text summaries, but very dense output may still be harder to consume with a screen reader. We are actively working on both.
Reporting an accessibility issue
If you encounter a barrier, tell us through the contact page with the subject line "Accessibility". Include the page URL, the assistive technology and browser you use, and what happened. We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within two business days and to prioritise fixes that block access to a calculator.
